SQL Saturday is a free 1-day training event for IT professionals that focus on providing a variety of high-quality technical sessions by local volunteers.
For the career development tract, I will be speaking at this conference on ‘Interviewing Tips for Managers” which will cover a variety of topics such as: basic interviewing guidelines, including: preliminary interviews, types of testing, secondary or follow-up interviews, while keeping in mind EEO guidelines and best practices. Also, for those job seekers, I will be giving some ‘Tips to Get Hired‘ which will focus on the do’s and don’ts of resume building, interviewing, and networking. Some great info on how to Master the art of getting recruited. In addition I will be available between sessions to go over resumes and mock interview questions with anyone who feels like they need some one on one attention.
